Work as an online interpreter or translator. If you’re fluent in a foreign language, it makes sense to look for work as an online interpreter or translator. Depending on your individual skillset, you could find work translating blog posts or eBooks, transcribing recorded lessons or speeches for clients, or translating through Skype or another online video service. And, thanks to the increased use of foreign languages in the United States, getting started could really pay off. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment for interpreters and translators is expected to increase 17% nationally through 2026.
However, there are few ways how you can monetize links. First is by doing affiliate marketing but in that case only small number of any of visitors will convert because they have to actually buy something from that site for you to get commission. Or there are Infolinks and other similar services that offers in-context advertising. The problem is that they almost nothing for clicks.

It is hard to think about spending $5,000 just to get started with a business when you have nothing but an idea. However, an idea won’t grow into a real business without some investment and marketing. That is not fair, it MIGHT, but it will take you a lot longer than just saving up a bit more and then jumping in with a real budget to make sure your first sale happens sooner than you go completely broke.
Earn cash back for shopping. Earning cash back on your purchases is a smart idea, and credit card rewards aren’t the only good cash-back strategy out there. With sites like ShopAtHome.com, eBates.com, and TopCashBack.com, you can earn up to 10% cash back on purchases made with approved merchants. Many frequent shoppers also love the Ibotta app, which lets you earn cash-back on every purchase.
When I first start a niche website, I'm not usually going to pick a particular monetization strategy until I pick a niche and keyword.  Sometimes, I'll think that I would like to build an email list and monetize that list with affiliate offers or my own products.  However, this is not set in stone, and could change as I pick my niche OR as I test different strategies on the same site.

Call-to-actions aren’t limited to sales. They can be used to get readers to engage with you by leaving a comment or on social media, sign up for your newsletter and more. As you create your pages, think about what you want your reader to benefit from and what you want them to do when they finish reading it. Then provide a call to action so they know the next step.

Building a strong mailing list is always a useful asset to any blog as it helps build your readership. You do not have to rely entirely on social media shares and search engine rankings. People will keep visiting your site long after their first visit, if they sign up for weekly or monthly newsletters. Most sites with a loyal readership have fat email lists.

The competition is tough to get into these, so don’t rely on them as your only path forward.

But if you have quality outfits you no longer want, ThredUp will probably pay you enough that you can buy new threads.
I don’t know about you all, but I love tiny things. My favorite of course being a tiny pig in rain boots, but my second favorite tiny thing is a microsite. We get a ton of questions about microsites from nonprofits so we are here to settle the score. First, for those of you who don’t know and are currently asking “what the heck is a microsite?”, we got you. We will walk you through exactly what a microsite is and address the inevitable question, does my nonprofit need one?
Next, you’ll need the right tools. You can be as complicated or simple as you want depending on your comfort with audio equipment, but at the minimum you’ll want a microphone and software for recording your voice. Companies like Behringer, Blue, Focusrite, and others sell studio-quality plug-and-play podcast setups that can get you recording today.

It’s hard to go wrong with WordPress—the CMS powering close to a quarter of the internet. Keep in mind that eventually as you start growing traffic to your blog, you'll be wise to invest in a managed WordPress hosting plan, where all of the settings are custom-tailored and optimized to work particularly well with WordPress-powered websites.

Due to the 24/7 nature of online businesses, companies are looking for people in different time zones to help deal with issues that their users are having. If the work is there, and you are particularly good at it, you could earn up to $30 per hour. That’s a pretty solid pay rate for a work-at-home job. You wouldn’t have to work a whole lot of hours to generate a decent part-time monthly income.

You simply name a price (based on what you think it’s worth, relative to what the competition might be charging), and get paid upfront at the beginning of each month. This pricing is also generally a simple flat fee, not tied to a Cost Per Click like AdSense.
If you have a good idea for an app, and the skills to create it, then producing your own premium app can be profitable. However, with so many free apps available, it may be hard to convince people to pay. If you want to go down the premium app route, consider having a basic free version to encourage people to download the app in the first place. You can then provide the option of upgrading to a premium plan once users realize how useful the app is.

One of the cool things about Google AdSense is that it's so easy to get set up. If you have a blog or website, you can sign up for a free Google AdSense Account. From there, Google will give you a unique code that you will paste onto your website. Google takes it from there, tracking your page views, traffic, and earnings on your behalf. There is no upkeep or maintenance to get this thing going, which makes it a no-brainer if you have a website already.
