At the time, most websites hated the idea of using popups because of the negative association people have with them. But these popups are different. Instead of popping up in another browser window, they popup as part of the page you are on. It was a lot less intrusive. Even better, it wasn’t to promote something spammy, but rather something of value to the reader.
If you know code, you can develop an entire set of modules and interactive features from scratch. Or, you can create a simple website with embeds of calculators, etc., but it won't be as original or hands-on. If you don't know code, it's recommended that you plan on paper exactly what sort of site you'd like to exist, then seek help from a good website developer able to bring all this to life for you.

Choose a niche with a significant audience. Your first job is to choose a niche that has a sizable and dedicated potential audience. You’ll want to be as specific as possible here. For example, don’t just target “men.” Instead, target “male parents ages 35-to-50 interested in _______.” This may limit the total number of people you can target, but you’ll increase your content’s relevance for that audience, and you’ll be able to grow faster as a result.

29. Videos – This could be an entire section on it’s own. Many people have made money by creating YouTube videos. Evan of EvanTube is a kid and he has made millions by creating reviews of products that other kids his age would use. It’s not easy to get views into the millions, but once you do, you’ll start seeing some cash come in. Many bloggers have completely turned to videos to get their point across by starting a video blog.
Matched Betting (not available in the USA) enables you to gamble (nearly) risk-free. I say nearly as there is always room for error! It involves placing bets on all outcomes of an event, using free online bets given out by the Bookies. Although it may take a while to get your head around the concept, Matched Betting can make a substantial addition to your monthly income.

It’s something akin to picking stocks. You want to buy undervalued domains, and sell them later on at a higher price. For example, you can pick a domain that is out of favor, but could be related to some future event. So if you decide that the stock market is likely to crash in the future, you can buy a domain that includes the words stock market crash during a rising market, and then sell it in a falling market.
However, people can still do webinars without all of that. For example, you might have a sizable social media following and you train them every week on something to do with social media. But you will need a product to embed and sell at some point. Don't worry about it in the beginning. And by far, the best webinar platform out there is certainly GoToWebinar. Hands down, there isn't even another platform that comes close.
Find a profitable niche: We’ve talked about this a lot. But, where are you most comfortable. What niche do your skills, values, and interests intersect? Do you have 10 years of experience as a technical writer? Do you have long-standing PR relationships that’ll be invaluable in helping startups launch a successful crowdfunding campaign? Determine what makes your value unique, and lean heavily on showcasing that strength to your potential clients.
The music industry might not be as strong as it was in the 80s, but there are still plenty of ways to make money online as a musician. WordPress by default is slow as there is a lot of thing that happens behind the scene. It is much more complex piece of software than Drupal that you are using on your website but it is also more fool-proof. WordPress has far better user interface and it empowers users to add additional functionality using single one click installation and updates. While Drupal has grown over the years it is still developer focused CMS and I can’t and never will recommend it for regular users.
Most websites don’t make money.  Although it seems like everybody and his uncle has a website, very few of those sites are making any money for their owner.  Most sites are put up without a clear idea of how the site will make money.  For some, the idea that it should make money is revolutionary.  Hopefully this doesn’t seem revolutionary to you.  Most are simply unaware of how many different ways a website can be profitable.  Let’s take a look at how your website should be making money for you.
Whether a website makes its owner any money depends on the purpose of the website and the effort the owner devotes to making it a moneymaker. A website focused strictly on selling merchandise, for example, depends on sales revenues. Websites properly set up, or optimized, to attract visitors from the Web looking for specific content are different. So-called content websites use several methods to generate revenue, which generally ranges from pennies daily up to thousands of dollars or more monthly.
Money can be earned and spent, saved and pilfered, invested and wasted. Not time. That's why time is far more valuable than money. The point? When you lack the luxury of time, making money online (or offline) can seem like an impossible task. How are you supposed to do that when you're working at a life-sucking nine-to-five job? While the stability of full-time employment might allow most to sleep well at night, it doesn't empower your creative juices to search for new income-producing strategies.
Drop shipping is another great ‘hands-off’ way to sell products. Firstly you will need to find businesses that sell products in your niche that offer a drop shipping service. Then you will need to create a website promoting and selling the products. When you make a sale, you take the payment on your site and then the manufacturer ships the goods to the buyer. The profit comes from charging a higher rate than the manufacturer, and if you are selling a high number of products this can quickly add up to a healthy revenue.
Sponsored posts work much in the same way as paid guest posts, but they are posted by big businesses instead of individual bloggers. Therefore, the scope for fees is much higher, as businesses have larger marketing budgets than humble bloggers. Having sponsored posts by large companies will also help promote your site as reputable and as a leader in its field.
Hold a yard sale. If you have a yard or garage and plenty of items to sell, you can have a yard sale as early as tomorrow. By advertising your sale on local Facebook pages and Craigslist, you can also skip the paid newspaper ad and keep all of the profits for yourself. If you don’t have time to price everything, try asking patrons to “make an offer” or grouping similar items on tables with an advertised price (e.g. everything on this table is $5).
Better yet, you can even upload your own book to one of the world’s largest book sellers: Amazon. With Amazon self-publishing, you set the price, retain the rights to your book, and get access to Amazon’s massive audience. For every sale, you keep 70% with Amazon taking the remainder as a fee. Before you even start to think about your website, you should take a look at your business. Are you a new business? Is your business running, but not doing so well because you aren’t doing well online? What does actual sales & profits mean to you, if you can’t spend $2,000 just to get going online, then you may need to rethink other aspects of your business.
We all struggle to keep motivated, personally I’m at the point with my business where I don’t have any financial worries so it’s hard for me to find a reason to keep working because to be honest with you, I don’t. I do however because I’m motivated by success, you may be the same or you may not be making money yet and want to get to this point. Community driven platforms like Savvy.is, Clarity.fm, and Coach.me provide you with a network of potential clients to interact with, as well an integrated payment solution.
My suggestion for you would be to kill all your website and create a one large website. From there you will have much more time to write content and promote your website because now you spend countless hours on maintenance alone and that’s not efficient. Large websites are much better received by Google and it is going to be much easier to monetize your website.

The truth is that making money online isn't as difficult as most make it out to seem. It does require some discipline. Sure. Without discipline, you'll find it tough to make a buck both online or offline.
